The Indianapolis Finale
It has been an amazing journey!!! From art shows to photoshoots to spontaneous creative sessions with other Indy natives, my artistic experience in Indianapolis has been nothing short of incredible.
In two weeks I will be transitioning to the Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue graduate studies in Industrial and product design! I hope that Atlanta treats me as well as my hometown has over the past 15 years. I want to welcome everyone out to my final art show in Indianapolis for 2009! I will be revealing brand new work that no one has seen! I will add more information about these paintings in another blog post...for now...check out the fliers below. Let's keep it refreshingly honest: Indianapolis is not the fashion capital of the Midwest---the left coast styles and the NYC looks take their time to converge onto our ultra lounges and boutiques.
But we are making major progress. This summer, when the sun popped out for expos and festivals, the sidewalks looked more like model runways than ever! As a passionate world traveler, I seek to infuse my new work with exciting and jetset scenes to keep us aware that the world is much bigger than we can even imagine. We are more connected than ever. And occassionally, I meet a new muse who pushes our creative limits and desires to new levels. My muse for 2009? Tyrie Shaniece Rudolph, currently signed with Lmodelz. A model that recognizes reality is always a pleasure to meet. But one that can embrace it, make it her own, and then walk in it---that's an inspiration.
